LYHA Player Registration

Player registration will be completed online again this year. You will have the option to pay registration costs upfront or 2 payment installments. The first installment will be collected at time of registration and the second will be automatically deducted from the SAME ACCOUNT on January 15th, 2027.  If you wish to use a different account to pay the 2nd installment balance, please log in to your Crossbar account BEFORE 01/15/2027 to update your account information.

The online payment is only for registration. At the time of tryouts, you will need to bring checks and additional information as outlined in Step #3 below.

Complete LYHA Player Registration. 

Players will be registered based on their birthdate. If your player tries out for, and makes a team at a higher level, any additional registration fees will be collected on the first day of practice.

Those registering as First Time Hockey Players will be asked to upload a copy of the participant's Birth certificate.

Bring the following to tryouts or first practice: 

• Fundraising Fees - Our annual Gun Raffle Fundraiser is held in the Spring and is our largest fundraising event of the year! We ask each family to sell a minimum of 15 tickets to the event. Each family is required to prepay for their 15 tickets at $30 per ticket ($450 total). Please write a check for $450 made out to LYHA and dated 4/1/2026. Since you prepaid for the tickets, any money raised from selling the tickets is yours to keep. Ticket stubs must be returned after the entire booklet has been sold. Any tickets that are lost or destroyed and need to be reprinted will result in a $30 replacement fee, charged to the family. This check will be cashed 4/1/2027.  Any check returned due to insufficient funds (NSF) will incur an additional $30 fee charged to the family.

• Parent Signature Page printed and signed by ALL parents/guardians acknowledging review of the Parent Code of Conduct and the volunteer and fundraising responsibilities.

Volunteer Fees - Each family is required to perform a minimum of 10 hours. Volunteer hours are posted on our website and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Hours must be completed prior to 5/10/2027 to count towards 2026-2027 season fulfillment. If volunteer hour requirements are not met, the $300 volunteer fee will be invoiced through Crossbar at that time.

Equipment Rental Fees (Optional) - The Association owns and checks out equipment (skates, helmets, breezers, chest protectors, elbow pads, shin guards, neck protectors, gloves, and sticks) for players to use during the season. Mites are given priority for renting equipment. Depending on availability, Squirt players may also rent the equipment. Families will be invoiced $100 through Crossbar at the end of the season for unreturned equipment, unless other arrangements have been made.
